Welcome to Walwa Riverside Caravan Park

Just 800m from the beautiful small country town of Walwa on the Victorian side of the Upper Murray River you will find the Walwa Riverside Caravan Park.

Situated on the banks of the river, nestled amongst shady cottonwood trees and well-maintained gardens it is the ideal spot for fishing, kayaking, swimming, motorbike riding, cycling, bushwalking and relaxing.

Great for travellers, holiday makers, caravan clubs, boating & fishing enthusiasts. Motorbikes & cyclists can also enjoy the beautiful countryside and tracks located in the area.

Cabins & Caravan Sites

The park has both cabin and camping accommodation with 2 ensuite cabins, 2 standard cabins, 48 powered sites and 12 unpowered sites. Guests are able to share the fully equipped camp kitchen with BBQ along with a separate BBQ area. The park is pet friendly.

Guest Facilities

There are 2 amenities blocks with spacious cubicles and plenty of hot water. Fire drums are available and wood can be purchased or you can bring your own. There is a RV dump point located at the sports ground 700m from the park. Ice and gas bottle refills are available on site.

Local Attractions

Explore the beauty and magnificent views by visiting Bluff Falls, Paddy’s Falls, Pine Mountain or Farran’s Lookout where snow capped mountains are viewable in the distance. The Man from Snowy River Festival is held in Corryong each April which is only a 30 minute drive from the park.

Immerse yourself in the serenity at this beautiful caravan park. You won’t be disappointed!

This is one of the most picturesque caravan Parks I’ve ever stayed in. The location, the well maintained lawns, well appointed ammenities, gracious owners, all go to making this a fabulous place. We were only going to stay three nights but booked another night as the place is stunning! I want to visit again and book into one of the lovely cabins next time.

Brilliant little caravan park, cannot fault it
Beautiful little caravan park right on the river. Very clean and neat. Quiet. I cannot fault it and we will definitely be back here again. Dog friendly and kid safe. It is out of the way of the centre of town but can walk there no problems. Amenities are spotless

A few days getaway
This is a terrific park by the Murray river, Heidi and Kev are great hosts, the cabin we stayed in was so clean and comfortable. The amities were perfectly clean also. We were able to leave our boat in the river during our stay even caught a few fish.!

Great park right on the Murray River
We stayed at Riverside for 5 nights in our van recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - dog friendly park with good amenities - stayed on a river site with great views overlooking the Murray river. Took advantage of the pool noodles available to do numerous river floats. Heidi amd Kev - the managers lovely to deal with. Clean amenities with camp kitchen if needed. Day trips in the area easily accessible - Corryong, Janjelic, Khancoban. Definitely would come back again.

Fantastic park
We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay in this lovely park in the small town of Walwa.
We stayed on a powered site and had 2 dogs in tow.
The hosts are very welcoming and the park is spotless with a very clean amenities block.
The park is so peaceful and quiet and is right on the bank of the Murray River.
Highly recommend. Come spend some money in this beautiful little town and do a day visit to Paddy’s River Falls.
